ESC Growth #4: New website sections

Posted Jan 11, 2019

We have been working on this for a long time and are now ready to show it in full! Today, our website opens new sections, which contain specific statistics. Finally, the calendar of future events will see the light of day. In addition, everyone will be able to choose the results of individual teams or top organizers. More details about all the features of each section can be found below.

Firstly, we will describe the “Upcoming events”. In this section, the user can access the calendar of future events in the world of esports. Thus, anyone will be able to plan their schedule in advance in order to view the championship required. In case you'll notice that we have missed something or decide to add your very own event, know that we are always open to requests, which are to be sent through this specific page: esc.watch/submit. You can learn more about it in this article.

In the “Teams” section, the website allows to view the most important information regarding the available teams. Anyone will be able to see which matches with the participation of the selected participant collected the most spectators. In addition to this, the website will display the data on top most viewed matches of the team in question. Additionally, the statistics showing the number of matches in tournaments will be also located at the same page. If you wish to get more information about teams - feel free to contact us on our official email.

The third addition is the “Organizers” tab. It will provide access to information about the top tournament operators. While a similar feature is available now as well, after the upgrade it will gain an improved overall look for the largest TOs. The users will have access to statistics collected solely on the tournament organizer required, the latter being selected from the list provided – be it Riot Games or Starladder.

The last, but not the least important is the mini-update which includes a slight modification to the main tournament page. We added to it a switching-by-months functionality, so that the users could check which tournament was the most popular on any particular month.

Teams and organizers statuses:
- Core (special status)
- Competitive (500 000+ viewers for teams / 30+ tournaments for organizers)
- Verified
